Such a delightful farm stay! Loved feeding the animals and the well-equipped cabin. Jenny's hospitality was top-notch. Highly recommended, but book in advance as it's a popular choice.

Oh, I just wish they had a lampblack equipment in the kitchen and could magically renovate the next room to fit a whole family. Sarcasm, of course.

the farm experience was so relaxing and enjoyable. Jenny, our host, was extremely knowledgeable about the alpacas, highland cattle, and ducks on the farm. She was always willing to share information and make us feel welcome. It truly felt like a boutique experience. the accommodations were fantastic - spotless, with an excellent shower and a really comfy bed. the wifi was great, and it was only a short drive to the blue penguin centre, which was the main reason for our visit to the area. the farm animals and garden were a joy to explore and relax in, and the clear rural night skies were breathtaking. the cherry on top was the delicious breakfast offered. Thank you, Jenny and Andrew, for an amazing stay!

I had the best farm stay in New Zealand! The farm was beautiful with sheep, cows, alpacas, and chickens, and the gardens were picture perfect. The room was well-designed and the bed was so comfortable. Jenny and Andrew, the hosts, were amazing and helped us feed the animals. I highly recommend this place.

The small details were nice, like having a fridge stocked with drinks and getting to see and feed the animals. the location was great too, with beautiful gardens and a peaceful atmosphere. Plus, the communication was friendly and prompt, making our stay really relaxing.

The wifi was a bit spotty at times, but it wasn't a big deal. Another little thing was that the bathroom door couldn't be locked, which the kids didn't like.

Loved the delicious breakfast options and the beautiful garden. The animals were so friendly, especially the cat who made sure to say hello. The towels were just amazing, I felt like I was wrapped in cloud.

Not a single monkey swinging from the chandeliers. Very disappointing.

We had such a memorable family trip exploring the beautiful countryside surrounding Highlands On Homestead. The bike rides were a blast, with breathtaking views and charming little towns along the way. It was the perfect way to spend quality time together and create lasting memories.

For dads, it would be great if there were more outdoor activities specifically designed for children.
